SinclairLightweight and breathable - It's hard to find rain protection that doesn't trap body heat. This one is highly breathable. The fit is great for layering. Very comfortable and a great look.

CustomerI have high arches and wide feet, Asics are the best athletic shoes I've found for my type of feet. I highly recommend them for anyone with the same foot type.

AléI gotta say, I've never been this disappointed with Asics shoes in my life. This is my favorite brand and I've probably purchased Asics half a dozen times, but I will never buy this model again. The shoes are extremely uncomfortable. They irritate my feet when I exercise and leave my feet on the verge of blisters. It's so bad that I can't wear them the next day. I'm not sure if maybe they run too big, but that really surprises me because my shoe size doesn't fluctuate and I have always purchased a size 10, sometimes even 10 1/2. Also, if your feet overpronate I do not recommend these at all as the support on these shoes make my overpronation worse.
3-month update:
The shoes are now even worse! If there were was an option to choose 0 stars, I would lower my initial 1-star review. It's only been 3 months and the shoes are actually falling apart. I've had Asics shoes that I've worn for hours, 6 days a week, when I used to do marching band that have held up for literally years, but 3 months in and the soles are detaching. I only wear them twice a week for about 2 hours each day when I go to the gym. I'm beginning to think these are not real Asics and maybe I got a knock-off sent to me. Money down the drain :(

Matt*** OVERALL IMPRESSION ***
I am really pleased with this jacket and expect to use it for years to come. I was looking for something mid-weight for fall and early spring, and I think I've found it. Comfortable, warm, good looking, incredibly well made, and surprisingly well-priced. Add some layering and you could wear this through the winter in many climates.
*** FIT & FORM ***
This jacket has an excellent, trim fit. I'm 5'11", 165 lbs, and most of Carhartt's products are cut for my more...rotund brethren. No bulging beer belly here. I ordered a medium and it fits well with room for some layering. The back has some pleats so you have a full range of motion. Really good pockets; the main outer ones are at the right height for your hands, and the angle ensures stuff won't fall out. The zippered breast pocket is a must. Inside, there are two good sized pockets, one zippered, one velcro. The cuffs are fantastic - elastic inside keeps out the wind and weather, but the sleeve extends over it. This does two things: (i) insulated gloves will fit over the elastic but under the sleeve, improving the seal, and (ii) it looks better than just plain elastic. That, combined with the straight bottom makes for a much cleaner, 'stylish' design.
*** MATERIAL & CONSTRUCTION ***
This is typical Carhartt construction. If you've bought their stuff before, you know what I mean. If you haven't, that roughly translates to 'build like a tank'. You could wear this thing on job sites for years before it would be any worse for the wear. It's double- or triple-stitched where it needs it. Tough, rugged exterior (although this 'sandstone duck' is softer and less restrictive than their normal heavy canvas) will block the wind. A little waterproofing spray will help keep off the rain and snow. The fleece-like liner is cozy and warm. Solid, heavy zippers won't crap out on you.

Sarasota2k4This is my second pair of NB 623s that I've purchased. My first pair was purchased over 1 year ago and were extremely comfortable as an everyday walking shoe. I put over 650 miles on my first pair, just from my 2.5-mile morning walks. As you can see from the picture, after hundreds of walking miles, the rear sole began to wear out. The NB623s are not only comfortable, they clean-up well, too. My new pair of NB623s fit perfectly and I'm looking forward to another year of walking comfort. I take leaving reviews seriously, and should I experience any issues with the new pair of NB623s, I will update my review.
Like most Amazon shoppers, I count on honest, unbiased reviews. I hope you have found this review helpful in making your purchase decision.

BanuelosThese are super cute. The velcro strap needs to be pulled tight for it to wrap over completely. Luckily my son has narrow feet so it allows me to pull it over pretty tight but if his feet were any wider, I wouldn't be able to. The shoe would still be functional but it would look a little sloppy. I would probably still buy them though.

J MaddoxComfortable fit but be careful tightening. Top fastener went pinging across the room the second time I wore them,
