I've been out in the pouring rain in Florida while wearing this jacket and stayed dry. My phone survived zipped up in one of the front pockets too. I like that the inside is mesh lined because it gets so hot and muggy here, but this jacket is pretty lightweight. Therefore it gets 5 stars for meeting all of my expectations of a functional rain jacket.

Very pleased with them fit lovely but you do have to make sure you get the next size up to what your size is as its American sizes
